It's been a while since a Flava Fav came into play around here. In fact this could be the first one of 2010! Mmhmm that's right. Stila's stay all day liquid eyeliner is where it's at. 

The hype is how it stays on aLl DaY and won't sMuDge. The tip allows  precise application void of any mistakes.

Precision is the word that came to mind as I applied it! 

Sure I adore a smudge free all night lasting liner. But the what drew me in is Stila stay all day guided my shaky hand to create some very dramatic eyes - without drawing a line in the wrong place (which I often do and usually have to re-do my eyes before leaving the house).

Mascara Monday: Benefit Badgal Lash

BADgal Lash Mascara is the only weapon you need on a first date. It lays on the mascara thick and with out clumps to form something sexy and similar to false lashes sans the glue. BADgal comes in a violet hue as well that really widens the eyes. One of my Flava Favs and I always have a couple in my cosmetic bag. Available at good ol' Sephora of course.

The pure fact that you can get all your lashes in one swoop is amazing in itself, watch as you eyes transform from office to cocktails in a split second. Not to say that you can't have cocktail eyes at the office....that's totally up to you, if you are a BADgal.

Being True

When your on the search for the best products out there, what is one of the characteristics you look for? One of my questions is: " What do the professionals use?". Youth revealing complex - This was my mommy's favorite. She saw results within three weeks. It's not-so-secret ingredient is idebenone, which is a bio engineered form of Co-Enzyme Q10....the bodies natural free radical fighter. Fine lines around her mouth, eyes, and forehead have become just a memory. I used it on my forehead and have to say that it has reduced my fine lines as well. Why do we call them fine, when they are the complete opposite? Anyhoo, we loved it.

Radiance revealing complex - Sun worshipers alike will die for this treat. It brings uneven blotchy skin tone to a better light. I began using it as soon as I knew that my beach were approaching the zero mark. My complexion has improved and it kind of looks like there is a slight glow coming from my cheek bones.

Purifying therapeutic mask - We tried this together. Um.... there is a delightful tingly sensation that comes along with this mask. It is only supposed to be used once a week but I wish I could use it everyday. Our skin felt clean BUT NOT DRIED OUT!!! So this is wonderful if you are the type with problem skin, since many treatments end up drying out the skin too much. The brush used to apply the mask is quite intriguing too! It was fun & relaxing painting the mask on our faces.

Energy Work Aroma shower gel - The scent of spearmint is just what my shower needed! A great morning eye opener and there is no soap in this gel so it won't dry out your skin!

Body Spray oil - After my awakening shower, I slathered on moisture + repair sheer oil spray. Multiple oils are included in the ingredients such as tamanu seed oil to add moisture and promote healing.

Eye Shadow - This was all mommy. These shadows are for everyone but cater to mature skin. My Experience:

Love Hate

There is something I hate, that is caused from three things I will love eternally: Coffee, Diet Coke, Red Wine. That's right. I'm hating on not so white teeth. Since my plan of quitting drinking any of the former yummies does not exist, I brush a lot. Sometimes that's not enough. Rembrandt has some new products and one to help achieve a desired shade of white in just a couple hours..... A while back I wrote only three sentences about one of my flava favs. Since it had been around for years, I didn't feel it needed a bio, that is until now. It smells great, works great but is sometimes hard to find. I for one am super-psyched because I remember when Xen-Tan was new...a couple years back. Wild Thang

Wild Rose. One of my personal favorite items on the beauty scene is Korres's Wild Rose Serum. I sit here in my apartment in Greece and remember the first time the serum sample came with a magazine. (Magazines in Greece are awesome like that, full sized samples with periodicals every time! Genius!) I already loved Korres so I used it right away. Dabbed a bit on my brow bones and cheek bones, a little on my temples. You get the picture. Then I applied my daily moisturizer and voila! An illumination that came through magificintly in photos, if I do say so myself. Well now that Korres is located every step I take, I'll be stocking up. Of course you can get it in the states virtually everywhere, but I like to remember the first time I used it, in this very room.

The word sonic has an effect on me. Salt n' Pepa had a song called "super sonic" and mostly its exciting because in the Bean Town area, we are getting our first Sonic drive-in on RT1 in Peabody. My own formula

I can't get enough of the sun or sun products and spf is vital for protection against the sun. Lancaster has an fabulous line of products that combine the two and cater to anti-aging as well. These are my flava favs:

Lancaster spf15 Vitalizing Age-Defying Cream
This is a light weight formula great for the first days of sun exposure. Moisture is intensive and the spf 15 protects skin whilst still getting a golden tan. I love this for my face, neck, and decollete.

Lancaster Face Visage Self Tan Gel



This clear-OIL FREE-gel (no break outs : ) has been dermalogically tested and provide Free Radical Protection. It's spoof proof so no need to worry about streaks (technology has come a long way). My tan arrived with in the hour and lasted six days.

Lancaster Sunscreen spf6 Dry Oil Spray
