When it comes to a night-out-seeking-hairstyle, I've been using Aveda's Pure Abundance ($15) and Kerastase's Resistance Bain Volumactive ($32) shampoos for a couple years. They work wonders and make my crazy thick here even more crazy thick. Since the credit crunch crisis has been looming over my thick hairy head, I thought that it was time to find a product that worked just as good but didn't deplete my bank account. Well, I did just that.
Loreal (who also makes Kerastase) makes Vive Pro Glossy Volume. It works just as well & I can pick it up at CVS for about 6 bucks and is 13oz compared to 8 oz. So I now alterate between the three.
